So here is Beauty of Bedford's September Newsletter!

Firstly, well done to Sharon Sagoo for winning a Chocolate Facial in August's online competition. We would also like to thank everyone for taking part; for those of you who have entered but not won the main prize, expect a little gift arriving in the post soon! Don't forget to enter this month's competition for another great prize.

On Saturday 3rd September we will be at the Times and Citizen's FACE OF BEDFORD final. Pop into the Corn Exchange and you'll see me, Selina and Lianna. There will be discounts on appointments booked that day and you'll be able to stock up on your favourite Barry M eye shadows. Buy 3 Dazzle Dusts for only £10! (Normal price £4.50 each) It's worth coming down for, especially if you're in town anyway.

Warning - Hen Party

This month we have also launched our Hen Party Package. You can take over our salon for the day - choose any treatments off the menu and enjoy. With the salon closed to everybody else you can really make the day your own; feel free to bring food and drink. Discounts will apply so pop in and see us to discuss your requirements. Our first hen day was a great success - take a look at our testimonials page on the web to see what the girls had to say about it.

By now, most of you will have had your summer holidays... except me and Selina!

So Beauty of Bedford will be closed from Monday 17th October. We will re-open on Wednesday 26th October at 2pm. You have plenty of warning so book your appointments accordingly. Selina and I will be sunning ourselves (we hope) in Turkey for the week. Don't worry we won't be away for long but will return fully refreshed and revitalised.

Welcome to the Beauty of Bedford Newsletter!

This month we're going for a Chocolate Theme to celebrate the re-release of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring Johnny Depp. As you know, we love Chocolate at Beauty of Bedford... where else can you get gorgeous chocolate beauty treatments?

For those of you yet to go on your summer holidays, gel toes are proving very popular. As a non chip semi-permanent nail colour, no need to worry about having to paint your toe nails throughout your holiday. We have lots of colours to choose from, a classic French or you can go a bit mad with some funky nail art designs - the choice is yours. Prices start from £28.

This month on the salon online magazine, we have looked at some great products from Karin Herzog which are ideal for summer and for prolonging your tan. The latest article explains the importance of your body's lymphatic system and how to look after it. If there's anything you want me to write about, let me know and I will!

July 2005 Newsletter

Welcome to another Beauty of Bedford Newsletter.

We can't believe its July already... We have been open just over 6 months now and would like to say thank you to all of you who have supported us since we opened. THANK YOU!

Unfortunately, our website has not been updated throughout June and we apologise for that, but look out for new additions this month. We've been plagued by a few technical problems but they are almost sorted out now.

Don't forget to send us your beauty dilemmas and hints and tips - there are prizes to be won!

For June's competition, we decided to give away a pair of Batten Edward's tweezers. The winner was Emma Syrett. WELL DONE! Your tweezers are on their way. Thank you to everyone else for entering and good luck for July... the new competition will be up on the website shortly.

This newsletter is short and sweet, however I would like to announce this month's special offer.

May 2005 Newsletter

Welcome to another Beauty of Bedford Newsletter.

This month has been very busy for us at the salon with lots of changes going on.

So have a look at www.beautyofbedford.co.uk. In the salon magazine, Maria has been looking at beauty treatments for men and the continuing problem of adult acne.

The competition winner for this month is Mandy Hunt. WELL DONE TO YOU! Mandy has won an eyelash perm.

This month we are giving away a Fake Bake treatment. As the weather is warming up, it'll be nice to have a healthy glow before we start baring all that flesh!

Talking of competitions, on www.lilmissgrecommends.co.uk this month, Lil Miss G is giving away one of our fantastic Chocolate Pedicures. So what are you waiting for? Freebies all round!

We have also introduced our Bio Sculpture Gel nails in the salon. Not long left 'til the offer of half price expires so hurry and book.

Maria and Selina went to the British Beauty Show last week and now have some great heated eyelash curlers. Only £13.50! So treat your lashes to a curl. Pop in and try them out. Coming soon, some fantastic tweezers - not only do they work incredibly well, they look good too.

After a bad experience with a home hair dye kit (and Selina), our policy for patch testing at Beauty of Bedford has now changed. It is COMPULSORY for everybody to have a patch test before EVERY eyelash/brow tint and perm. NO EXCEPTIONS! Please contact us for details. No patch test, no treatment!

On a lighter note, we would like to welcome a new addition to our team. Lianna Lowe is our new Saturday girl. She's a lovely girl and will probably be the one you speak to on a Saturday from now on.

Welcome to Beauty of Bedford's first official newsletter!

We hope you are all enjoying our web site, in particular our salon magazine crammed with beauty tips which are updated by Selina on a weekly basis. We also give you an insight into the world of health and beauty with weekly articles brought to you by Maria.

So far we have discovered lots of very good reasons as to why we have to indulge in chocolate, the potential dangers of essential oils and natural medicines, how to combat cellulite and how to achieve that healthy tan we all strive for. Keep your eyes peeled for future articles, if there's any subject that you would like to now more about, please let us know and we'll see what we can do!

Not much else to report from the salon, apart from the fact that we are booking up very quickly on Saturdays so if you do want a Saturday appointment don't forget to book up early!
